About the Role

The Supply Chain and Procurement Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the company's key supply chains and procurement activities. This role involves developing and implementing procurement strategies, managing supply chain relationships, negotiating contracts, and ensuring the timely acquisition of goods and services.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successful procurement and supplier management. They will have strong negotiation and contract management skills, excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, and proficiency in procurement software and tools.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive procurement strategies aligned with company goals and objectives.
  • Analyze market trends and conditions to identify potential opportunities and risks in the supply chain.
  • Collaborate with other departments to understand and anticipate their procurement needs.
  • Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, cost, delivery, and service capabilities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure reliability and continuous improvement.
  • Negotiate favorable terms, conditions, and pricing with suppliers to achieve cost savings and mitigate risks.
  • Monitor contract performance and address any issues or discrepancies promptly.
  • Oversee the procurement process, from requisition to purchase order issuance and delivery.
  • Ensure the timely and accurate acquisition of goods and services, avoiding disruptions to operations.
Requirements
  • Professional certification in procurement or supply chain management.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of successful procurement and supplier management.
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and tools.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and lead a team.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Proactive and results-driven.
