Position: School Mental Health Assistant
Location: Luton
Salary: £460-£500 per week
Contract: Long Term, 5 days a week (8:30 AM - 4:30 PM)
Sector: Education and Training
As a School Mental Health Assistant at an SEN school in Luton, you'll play a crucial role in supporting children with complex social, emotional, and mental health needs, including ADHD, Down syndrome, and communication challenges.
What We're Looking For:
- A degree in Psychology or a related field is preferred.
- Previous experience with SEN is highly desirable, particularly for Criminology and Psychology graduates.
- A strong interest in mental health, particularly in relation to Autism and SEMH needs.
- A keen interest or understanding of the diverse learning and behavioural needs within an SEN setting.
- Local candidate is ideal.
