Data Governance Manager

Prism Digital is seeking a seasoned Data Governance Manager to lead the development of a new data governance platform from scratch. This is a unique opportunity to join a greenfield project and shape the future of data governance in a prestigious FinTech company.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and audit data sources and systems to establish data quality standards and metrics.
  • Establish a data council to develop documentation, guidelines, and policies for data management.
  • Design and implement a data governance platform using tools like Collibra, Purview, and Atlan.
  • Manage PII, GDPR compliance, and data requests.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience as a Data Governance Manager, Lead, or Specialist.
  • Hands-on experience with implementing governance frameworks/methodologies: DAMA-DMBOK, DCAM, etc.
  • Experience working with modern cloud data tech stack: Snowflake, Azure, DBT, Fivetran, etc.
  • Ability to persuade and sell data governance concepts to resistant team members.
