Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Control System Design/Software Engineer to join our team in Plymouth. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing effective control systems, managing projects, and collaborating with our electrical and mechanical engineers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Developing cross-functional relationships with electrical and mechanical engineers to ensure seamless project execution
  • Researching and recommending new technologies, processes, and ways of working to optimize performance, quality, and profitability
  • Ensuring customer specifications and delivery requirements are fully evaluated and agreed upon
  • Effective self-management to achieve agreed targets
  • Communicating any issues that may hinder target achievement
  • Commissioning, servicing, and supporting projects at customer premises
  • Producing and completing documentation in a timely and appropriate manner
  • Ensuring agreed performance, quality, cost, and delivery targets are met
