As a Lead Automation and Control Systems Engineer, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Defueling Facilities project, contributing to vital initiatives in the nuclear defueling sector.
Core Responsibilities:
- Perform asset evaluations and obsolescence assessments.
- Identify and specify replacement components and assist in documentation for permanent alterations.
- Ensure the accuracy of technical schematics and documentation.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
- Advance EC&I systems through various tasks and deliverables, including requirements documentation, maintenance and commissioning records, and implementation assistance.
Required Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience with EC&I systems, encompassing both hardware and software.
- Familiarity with industry regulations pertaining to electrical systems, especially regarding functional and machinery safety.
- Proven experience in developing EC&I systems through standard design processes.
- Ability to manage stakeholders effectively to gather project scopes and requirements.
- Skilled in creating electrical engineering diagrams using AutoCAD.
Educational Background:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience with HNC.
- Professional accreditation with an engineering body is preferred.
- Capability to obtain and uphold Security Check (SC) clearance.
