Description

Finning, the leading CAT dealer in the UK and Ireland, is seeking a skilled Plant Fitter - Field Service Engineer to join its industry-leading field service department. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional on-site diagnostic and repair services for Caterpillar products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical issues with heavy equipment
  • Provide comprehensive quotes and repair plans to customers
  • Work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives

Requirements:

  • Strong technical knowledge of heavy equipment and machinery
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Valid LDV driving license
  • Apprentice-trained engineer or formally trained with NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
