About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Plant Fitter to join our team at Finning, the largest CAT dealer in the UK and Ireland. As a Plant Fitter, you will be at the forefront of our on-site diagnostic and repair capabilities for Caterpillar products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert diagnostic and repair services for heavy equipment and machinery
  • Work closely with customers to understand their needs and resolve mechanical or electrical issues in a safe, timely, and cost-effective manner
  • Utilize the latest dealer software and repair techniques to ensure high-quality results

Requirements

  • Knowledge of heavy earth moving equipment and field-based diagnosis tools
  • LDV driving license and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Apprentice-trained engineer or formally trained with NVQ Level 3 preferred
