About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Shift Engineer to join our onsite Engineering Team at Bakkavor Barton Bread. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing engineering support to production to ensure efficient performance on all equipment.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide engineering support to production to ensure efficient performance on all equipment
  • Ensure that all health and safety procedures and engineering best practices are always adhered to
  • Accurate and timely records are entered and recorded on all work carried out, root causes of failures and of spares/consumables used
About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A time-served apprenticeship or equivalent
  • An electrical bias
  • A recognized engineering qualification
  • Previous maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
  • A flexible working attitude
  • Competent electrical and fault-finding skills
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Methodical and strong attention to detail
