Job Title: Engineering Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Project Manager to join our team at CV Library. As an Engineering Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading the planning and implementation of aerospace projects from initiation to completion, ensuring all milestones and deliverables are achieved.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Project Planning: Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and resource allocation strategies to ensure successful project delivery.
  2. Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, including clients, senior management, and external partners, providing regular updates on project status and addressing any issues or concerns.
  3. Resource Optimization: Efficiently allocate resources, including personnel, budget, and equipment, to optimize project outcomes and meet deadlines.
  4. Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project timelines and objectives.
  5. Budget Management: Develop and manage project budgets, tracking expenditures and ensuring cost-effectiveness throughout the project lifecycle.
  6. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including plans, schedules, reports, and performance metrics, ensuring transparency and accountability.
  7. Continuous Improvement: Promote a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for process enhancements and implementing best practices in project management and aerospace engineering.
Requirements:
  1. Extensive experience in project management within Aerospace, Defence, Automotive, or other highly regulated engineering sectors, with a proven track record of leading successful projects.
  2. Proven track record of working within projects that are highly focused on change and transformation.
  3. Previous experience in using Primavera P6 for project planning, scheduling, and resource management.
  4. Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire teams, manage complex projects, and drive results in a fast-paced environment.

Please note that due to recent changes in Off Payroll (IR35) legislation, our client only operates with contractors that operate via a PAYE or Umbrella model.
