Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Project Manager to join our team at AMS CWS. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading the planning and implementation of aerospace projects from initiation to completion.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Management: Lead the planning and implementation of aerospace projects, ensuring all milestones and deliverables are achieved.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for all project stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status and addressing any issues or concerns.
  • Resource Allocation: Efficiently allocate resources, including personnel, budget, and equipment, to optimize project outcomes and meet deadlines.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project timelines and objectives.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage project budgets, tracking expenditures and ensuring cost-effectiveness throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including plans, schedules, reports, and performance metrics, ensuring transparency and accountability.
  • Continuous Improvement: Promote a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for process enhancements and implementing best practices in project management and aerospace engineering.
  • Change and Transformation: Lead and manage change and transformation initiatives, ensuring a smooth transition and alignment with organizational goals.

We require the successful candidate to have extensive experience in project management within aerospace, defence, automotive, or other highly regulated engineering sectors, with a proven track record of leading successful projects across engineering, supply chain & procurement, and manufacturing & operations.

Previous experience in using Primavera P6 for project planning, scheduling, and resource management is essential. The successful candidate will also have demonstrated ability to lead and inspire teams, manage complex projects, and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
