Disability Services Assistive Technology and Data Team Leader

**Job Summary**
We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our Disability Services Department as an Assistive Technology Service Manager. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the college's assistive technology provision, ensuring legal compliance and promoting the use of assistive technology to enable learner independence and maximize funding.
**Key Responsibilities**
- **Lead the Assistive Technology Service**: Continuously monitor, develop, and streamline the admin function within the department, ensuring efficient and effective delivery of services.
- **Develop and Implement Assistive Technology Provision**: Lead and develop the college's assistive technology provision, ensuring legal compliance and promoting the use of assistive technology to enable learner independence and maximize funding.
- **Manage Assistive Technology Loans Service and Materials Service**: Lead the delivery of a student-focused Helpdesk service internally and externally, to students, staff, and stakeholders, and manage the use of the supported study areas across all campuses.
- **Coordinate Funding and Resources**: Coordinate the recording of costs relating to disability funding to ensure audit compliance, accurate invoicing, and future funding, and oversee purchases and invoices working with the Head of Disability Services.
- **Maintain Accurate Records**: Maintain accurate records that support the college in all its quality assurance/audit processes and funding claims in line with institutional responsibilities and departmental expectations.
- **Provide Funding Updates**: Provide funding updates to the Head of Disability Services, Head of MIS, Chief Information Officer, and other College managers.
**Requirements**
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of assistive technology and its applications, as well as excellent leadership and management skills. You will also need to be able to work effectively with stakeholders, including students, staff, and external partners.
