Disability Services Assistive Technology and Data Team Leader

We are seeking an experienced ALS Systems and Technology Team Lead to join our Disability Services Department at Bradford College.
The postholder will lead the college's Assistive Technology Service, Adaptation of Materials Service, and physical and virtual front-of-house services for Disability Services. They will also manage the Supported Study Areas across all campuses.
Key responsibilities include:
- Continually monitoring, developing, and streamlining the admin function within the department.
- Leading and developing the College assistive technology provision, ensuring legal compliance.
- Promoting and developing the use of assistive technology as a means of enabling learner independence and maximising funding.
- Leading overall on the college Assistive Technology Loans Service and Materials Service.
- Delivering a student-focused Helpdesk service internally and externally, to students, staff, and stakeholders.
- Managing and monitoring the use of the supported study areas across all campuses.
- Gathering and responding appropriately to student feedback.
- Interpreting funding guidance and regulations.
- Ensuring all funding deadlines are met.
- Overseeing purchases and invoices working with the Head of Disability Services.
- Maintaining accurate records that support the college in all its quality assurance/audit processes and funding claims in line with institutional responsibilities and departmental expectations.
- Providing funding updates to the Head of Disability Services, Head of MIS, Chief Information Officer, and other College managers.
- Monitoring the use of AT resources and ensuring value for money by keeping abreast of new hardware and software and piloting new technologies/advising on new purchases.
