A renowned opportunity has arisen within the liver and HPB dietetic team for a dynamic, driven and enthusiastic dietitian with liver or hepatobiliary surgery experience to work in a busy acute setting at King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.

This exciting position is within the Liver & HPB dietetic team of Band 7 and Band 6 dietitians that deliver an in and outpatient service to the internationally recognised Hepatology and Liver Transplant Unit. The post holder would be expected to provide dietetic input to the Hepatobiliary (HPB) inpatient and Liver Unit at King's College Hospital.

Main Duties
  • As well as inpatient post-surgical nutritional support for pancreatic and liver surgeries and general hepatology, the role will involve complex patient management and MDT working, liver transplant assessments, and post liver transplant reviews.
  • You will also be responsible for hepatology and HPB outpatient clinics, working alongside other dietitians to deliver high-quality care to patients.

The ideal candidate should have strong leadership and negotiation skills, with ability to prioritise own workload and work as part of a team. Experience of undertaking clinical audit, multidisciplinary team working, and interpreting anthropometric measurements are essential.
