About the Role:The Senior Financial Accountant will be responsible for leading our Financial Accounting team within Financial Services. This critical role involves all aspects of financial accounting and treasury functions, including providing expert advice on taxation matters. You will deliver a comprehensive financial accounting service to our University, its subsidiaries, joint ventures, and the ARU Foundation Trust.
In this position, you will play a vital role in empowering Financial Services to make significant contributions to the university. A relevant professional qualification at postgraduate level (e.g., ACCA, ICAEW, CIMA) and proficiency in database reporting and spreadsheet applications are essential. Strong management and interpersonal skills are also required, along with expertise in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

The estimated salary for this role is £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, reflecting industry standards and the company's location.
