Job Description


The Senior Financial Planning Expert will be responsible for maintaining the 30-year business plan, producing the FFR Return to the Regulator of Social Housing, and providing insightful analysis on key drivers impacting business performance. The role also involves treasury liquidity management, supporting financing exercises, and production of monthly forecasts and annual loan amortisation calculations.



Key Responsibilities:



  1. Maintaining the 30-year business plan, including regular sensitivity and scenario planning.
  2. Producing the FFR Return to the Regulator of Social Housing.
  3. Providing insightful analysis on key drivers impacting business performance and suggesting solutions to drive improvements in financial performance.
  4. Treasury liquidity management across all existing and future loan funding arrangements.
  5. Supporting financing exercises as needed by the organisation's Treasury Strategy.
  6. Production of monthly interest, loan amortisation and treasury accruals.
  7. Production of annual loan amortisation accounting calculations.
  8. Monitoring of monthly and annual Treasury covenants, KPIs and Golden Rules.
  9. Production of monthly forecasts in relation to Treasury budgets.
  10. Day-to-day contact for Business Planning advisers and key team contact for Treasury advisers and Banking Lawyers.
  11. Fostering and building productive relationships with funders and other key stakeholders.


Required Skills and Qualifications:



  • Substantial experience of Business Planning through Brixx.
  • Experience of completing the FFR Return to the Regulator of Social Housing.
  • Lifelong learner with a commitment to professional development.
  • Strong knowledge and skills in using Brixx / Business Planning Software.
  • Strong financial appraisal and financial modelling skills.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
