Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machining Specialist to join our team at WEC Group Ltd. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for programming, setting, and operating CNC multi-axis sliding head autos.

Key Responsibilities

  • Program and set up CNC machines for high-volume production runs
  • Develop and implement cutting strategies to optimize tooling and reduce waste
  • Work with various materials, including exotic grade alloys, to deliver high-quality parts
  • Collaborate with the production team to ensure efficient machine operation and minimize downtime
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of process improvements to enhance productivity and quality

Requirements

  • Time-served experience in a technical machining background
  • Proficiency in programming using Fanuc
  • Experience working with multi-axis turning centres
  • Strong understanding of engineering drawing, tooling selection, and work holding
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
