About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team, supporting the growth of our client's engineering team. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and servicing agricultural machinery, ensuring the highest quality standards are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Accurately diagnose faults, service, and carry out emergency repairs/breakdowns on agricultural machinery (tractors, combines, balers, etc)
  2. Travel to customer sites to ensure all machinery is maintained and repaired to the highest quality
  3. Carry out diagnostics to diagnose mechanical and electrical faults on agricultural and horticultural machinery
  4. Work on engines, batteries, and hydraulics, alongside mechanical and electrical fault finding and repairs

Requirements:

  1. Previous experience working with hydraulics, alongside mechanical and electrical capabilities (essential)
  2. Previous experience working within the Agricultural industry (essential)
  3. Electrical and/or Mechanical fault finding, repair & service experience (advantageous)
  4. Experience working with engines and batteries (advantageous)
  5. Relevant qualifications NVQ or City and Guilds in mechanical/electrical engineering (advantageous)
  6. Full UK Drivers License

What We Offer:

We offer a competitive salary, paid door to door, and a range of benefits, including:

  1. 32 days holiday including bank holidays – increasing with service
  2. All overtime after 37.5X midweek, x2 on Sundays and Bank Holidays (£22.50 per hour)
  3. Plenty of overtime available per week (average availability is 15-20 hours) Min (5 hours): Additional £5,850pa / Average (15 hours) : Additional £17,550pa
  4. Holiday overtime pay – paid in May (£1,500 paid last year)
  5. Ongoing commitment to training and progression
  6. Pension scheme – 3% employee minimum, 8% employer
  7. Company van, Fuel Card, mobile phone etc
  8. All Travel Time, Expenses paid from home to/from site
