**Job Overview**


This role provides an exciting opportunity to join our Children and Young People's Mental Health Service as a Clinical Practitioner.



**Key Responsibilities**


As a key member of our multi-disciplinary team, you will be responsible for undertaking CAMHS assessments of children and young people up to the age of 18 to inform formulation, diagnosis, and recommendations for treatment within a spectrum of mental health presentations.



**Main Duties**


You will have a caseload, offering evidence-based interventions to children and adolescents with complex mental health needs and their families. You will be required to develop and maintain close working relationships with members of the team and partnership agencies, including Social Services, Education, and others.



**Person Specification**


We are looking for individuals with a strong background in CAMHS, ideal candidates will have a successful completion of a graduate training (nursing, social work, occupational therapy) or equivalent substantial CAMHS clinical experience. Additionally, you will have further professional knowledge gained through accredited courses, workshops, study, and in-house training programmes (CYP-IAPT training).
