Main Responsibilities

Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust is a large acute hospital trust in the south-east of England. We provide a full range of general hospital services and some aspects of specialist and complex care to around 600,000 people living in west Kent and East Sussex. We have a team of over 8,000 full and part-time staff. We also provide specialist cancer services to around 2 million people across Kent and East Sussex via the Kent Oncology Centre.

Person Specification
  • Educated to degree level in a numerate subject or equivalent experience.
  • MS SQL trained.
  • Evidence of continuing professional development, with personal development in courses relevant to information management within the NHS.
Key Skills
  • Ability to identify and advise managers on performance trends and suggest possible explanations, tailored to relevant areas using narrative and graphical presentations.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and be self-managing.
  • Ability to produce statistical, trends, and performance analysis of primary and secondary care data.
  • Understanding and ability to use SQL Server to extract information for manipulation and analysis.
