Estimated Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum

Synergy and Collaboration

The successful candidate will be responsible for factory acceptance testing of a wide range of machinery from component level to final assembly. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail and the ability to work independently as part of a dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Verify build standards and functioning of equipment to engineering specifications and tolerances in a modern manufacturing environment
  • Test complex electronic and electro-mechanical systems using a variety of test equipment
  • Demonstrate proficiency in soldering, crimping, lacing and splicing
  • Use electronic test equipment and follow complex test specifications
  • Fault find and diagnose issues in a methodical manner
  • Work with Mil Spec connectors, cable identification and production techniques
  • Maintain awareness of ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) procedures
  • Assemble and test/repair PCBs (Printed Circuit Boards)
Requirements and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have completed a recognised apprenticeship in electronics or electro-mechanical engineering or hold a relevant qualification such as NVQ/City & Guilds Level 3.

Benefits

This role offers a competitive salary, 5 weeks holiday plus bank holidays, company pension and free parking. The working hours are Monday-Thursday 8:15am-5:00pm and Friday 8:15am-12:45pm.
