{"Job Title": "Electrical Network Technician", "Job Summary": "We are seeking a skilled Electrical Network Technician to join our team at Western Power Distribution. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for the construction, maintenance, and repair of our underground and overhead network up to 66kV.

Your primary duties will include:

* Issuing Limitations of Access and Permit to Work safety documents up to 66kV
* Constructing distribution substations, overhead lines, and associated plant
* Repairing and replacing faulty and obsolete plant, cables, and overhead lines
* Recording asset routes, details, and positions
* Connecting generators

To be successful in this role, you will need to have good communication skills, a flexible attitude, and the ability to work in pressured situations. You will also be required to train as an SAP and be mobile throughout the area to undertake standby duties as part of the formal rota operating in the team.

**Requirements:**

* Grade A*-C/4-9 GCSE in English and Maths or Functional Skills Level 2 qualification in both subjects
* City & Guilds 2339 Level 2 or equivalent Level 2 qualification in Electrical Engineering
* Ability to work in a team and make on-the-spot decisions
* Good communication and problem-solving skills
