We are a leading provider of residential childcare services, dedicated to supporting children and young people with learning disabilities.

Role Overview:

The Deputy Manager - Residential Childcare will play a crucial role in the daily operations of our care homes, ensuring that residents receive high-quality support and care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To assist the Registered Manager in managing the day-to-day operations of the care home;
  • To develop and maintain effective relationships with residents, their families, and external agencies;
  • To contribute to the development and implementation of care plans for residents;
  • To ensure that all aspects of care are delivered in accordance with company policies and procedures;
  • To participate in staff training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge;

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need;

  • A relevant qualification in social work or a related field;
  • Experience of working in a residential childcare setting;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Able to work effectively as part of a team;
  • A flexible approach to working hours, including night shifts and sleep-ins;

What We Offer:

We offer a competitive salary package, ranging from 30,000 to 35,000 per annum, depending on experience. This includes added benefits for night shifts and sleep-ins.
