We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Caregiver to join our team at New Forest Care Ltd.

Job Summary

This is a rewarding opportunity to work with vulnerable children, providing them with the support and care they need to thrive.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing 24/7 care to our residents, including overnight sleep-ins. They will work closely with our team to create a safe and nurturing environment that promotes the physical, emotional, and psychological well-being of our young people.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their basic needs are met and their dignity is respected.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of resident care, including daily reports and progress notes.
  • Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement personalized care plans.
  • Support residents in developing life skills, such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, and time management.
  • Engage in activities that promote socialization, leisure, and recreation, helping residents build relationships and confidence.
Requirements
  • A relevant qualification in childcare or a related field (e.g., Diploma Level 3 in Residential Childcare).
  • Experience working with vulnerable children, preferably in a residential setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with residents, families, and colleagues.
  • Physical fitness and stamina to cope with the demands of overnight shifts and caring for residents with complex needs.
