Job Description:

We are seeking an exceptional Event Production Manager to join our team at DRPG. This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned professional with expertise in managing high-profile events.


  • Main Responsibilities:
    • Work closely with the Health and Safety department to ensure thorough risk assessments for all events
    • Manage events within budget, overseeing financial matters and maintaining accurate records
    • Proactively manage staffing levels to meet budget targets while upholding high standards of production
    • Provide comprehensive technical support before, during, and after events
    • Directly supervise technical team members, guiding both permanent and freelance staff in their work
    • Attend site visits and production meetings as required to guarantee successful event execution
    • Collaborate with other departments to determine event requirements and maximize revenue potential
    • Maintain exceptionally high standards of production for all events
    • Coordinate technical equipment and ensure seamless event operations
    • Complete reconciliations for all event expenses
    • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and obtain necessary permits for each event

Requirements:
  • At least 5 years of experience in technical delivery with a reputable agency or production company
  • A strong background in various event types, including conferences, concerts, and hospitality events
  • Familiarity with streaming and broadcast principles
  • Proven leadership and management skills, with a track record of inspiring teams
  • In-depth knowledge of production processes and resource management strategies
  • Hands-on experience with stage machinery, electrics, sound, lighting, and audio-visual techniques
  • The ability to read and interpret CAD drawings with ease
  • A valid driving license and willingness to travel internationally for commercial duties
  • Proficiency in design and drawing software, such as Vector Works or AutoCAD

Salary and Benefits:

The estimated salary for this role is £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience. We also offer a range of benefits, including a competitive pension scheme, generous holiday allowance, and opportunities for professional development.
