Project Safety Case Manager

About the Role
The National Nuclear Laboratory is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Safety Case Manager to join their team. As a Project Safety Case Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the company's continued compliance with all safety case-related Site Licence Conditions.
Main Responsibilities
- Lead the implementation of governance arrangements to ensure compliance with legislative, regulatory, environmental, safety, and quality requirements.
- Develop and implement a clear strategy for the ongoing management of the project safety case.
- Act as the primary point of contact for project safety case issues and provide high-quality safety case advice to stakeholders.
- Identify and drive improvement initiatives on safety case understanding and implementation in the workplace.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislative, regulatory, and company policy, standards, and procedures.
Requirements
- Experience in working in a regulated industry with a strong understanding of safety case management principles.
- Compliance professional with a degree-level education and extensive practical experience in a safety case management role.
- Ability to analyse and interpret complex information, make decisions, and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Experience of remaining calm under stressful circumstances and evidence of self-motivation, drive, energy, and resilience.
