About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Safety Case Manager to join our team at National Nuclear Laboratory. As a Project Safety Case Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the company's continued compliance with all safety case-related Site Licence Conditions.

Main Responsibilities

  • Lead the implementation of governance arrangements to ensure compliance with legislative, regulatory, environmental, safety, and quality requirements.
  • Develop and maintain a clear strategy for the ongoing management of the project safety case.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for project safety case issues and provide high-quality safety case advice to stakeholders.
  • Identify and drive improvement initiatives on safety case understanding and implementation in the workplace.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislative, regulatory, and company policy, standards, and procedures.

Requirements

  • Experience in working in a regulated industry with a detail-oriented approach and ability to work to stringent deadlines.
  • Compliance professional with a degree-level education and extensive practical experience in a safety case management role.
  • Ability to analyse and interpret complex information, make decisions based on this information, and communicate concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Experience of remaining calm under stressful circumstances and evidence of self-motivation, drive, energy, and resilience.
  • Ability to communicate key information verbally and in writing with a range of stakeholders.
