Job Title: Real Estate Solicitor

Location: Remote (2 days in the office)

Salary/Rate: £400-£450 per day INSIDE IR35

Job Type: Contract

Square One Resources is a leading recruitment agency specializing in the placement of skilled professionals in the legal sector. We are currently working with a sector-leading telecommunication client who is seeking a highly qualified Real Estate Solicitor to join their team for a six-month contract.

Job Responsibilities:

As a Real Estate Solicitor, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of real estate matters using a case management system. You will have access to the latest technology and will be supported by a Team Manager and Senior Manager to ensure your continued growth and progress in your legal career.

  1. Dealing with lease renewals, licences to alter, assignments, and other ad hoc real estate matters and key projects
  2. Drafting, negotiating, and reviewing legal documents and agreements with precision and attention to detail
  3. Conducting due diligence checks and preparing comprehensive reports in line with the client's Real Estate Manual
  4. Attending meetings with key stakeholders and third parties
  5. Supporting junior colleagues by way of providing feedback and training
  6. Staying abreast of industry developments, legal updates, and best practices
  7. Building and maintaining strong client relationships through exceptional service and communication
  8. Participating in business development efforts, including client presentations, marketing, and networking opportunities

Required Skills and Experience:

The ideal candidate will have the following:

  1. Qualified Solicitor
  2. Excellent relationship-building skills, gaining client trust and understanding their objectives
  3. Strong influencing and persuasive abilities, capable of engaging and convincing individuals at all levels
  4. Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the willingness and ability to support other team members at various stages of their career
  5. High levels of attention to detail, prioritization, and accuracy, through effective self-review, and critically challenging data inputs and explanations
  6. Strong problem-solving, analytical skills, and insatiable curiosity, to get to the bottom of complex issues involving interacting processes and systems
  7. Ability to identify process improvement and automation opportunities while ensuring effective resource utilization
