Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Real Estate Solicitor to join our team at Liberty Global Shared Services Limited in Bradford. As a key member of our Legal Operations Team, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of real estate matters, providing expert legal advice, and supporting the growth and development of our business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of real estate matters, including lease renewals, licences to alter, assignments, and other ad hoc real estate matters and key projects.
  • Draft, negotiate, and review legal documents and agreements with precision and attention to detail.
  • Conduct due diligence checks and prepare comprehensive reports in line with our client's Real Estate Manual.
  • Attend meetings with key stakeholders and third parties.
  • Support junior colleagues by providing feedback and training.
  • Stay abreast of industry developments, legal updates, and best practices.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through exceptional service and communication.
  • Participate in business development efforts, including client presentations, marketing, and networking opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 5 years' PQE.
  • Excellent relationship-building skills, gaining client trust and understanding their objectives.
  • Strong influencing and persuasive abilities, capable of engaging and convincing individuals at all levels.
  • A willingness and aptitude to rapidly grasp and adapt to new legal issues, demonstrating confidence and agility.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the willingness and ability to support other team members at various stages of their career.
  • High levels of attention to detail, prioritization, and accuracy, through effective self-review, and critically challenging data inputs and explanations.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical skills, and insatiable curiosity, to get to the bottom of complex issues involving interacting processes and systems.
  • Ability to identify process improvement and automation opportunities while ensuring effective resource utilization.
