About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and organized Allied Health Professional, Nurse, or Clinical Research Practitioner to join our Research and Development Team as a Team Lead. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and research-active environment, contributing to the delivery of high-quality research studies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement research protocols and ensure compliance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP), current legislation, and research governance standards.
  • Recruit and support patients through the research process, providing excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Collect accurate data, collect tissue or other biological samples, and conduct clinical assessments.
  • Ensure research is conducted in a timely and efficient manner, with flexibility to work on multiple studies simultaneously.
  • Collaborate with research and university teams to drive clinical research delivery performance within the Trust.

Requirements
  • Relevant professional qualification (RMN or equivalent) or degree in a relevant subject.
  • Previous experience working in a health or social care setting.
  • Awareness of GDPR and data protection issues related to NHS research.
  • Experience of working within a multi-disciplinary team.
Desirable Criteria
  • Awareness of GCP/Informed consent/other obligatory regulations related to healthcare research.
  • Experience of research in a healthcare setting.
  • Experience of public speaking.
  • Experience of report writing.
