Job Overview

We are inviting applications for two LAT posts within the North of Scotland Anaesthetic Training Programme.

About the Role

The programme is delivered through Aberdeen Royal Infirmary and Raigmore Hospital, with posts potentially based at either location to balance the needs of the successful applicant and the training programme.

Key Responsibilities
  • To work as a specialist registrar in anaesthetics, contributing to the delivery of high-quality patient care and medical education.
  • To develop skills and knowledge in anaesthetics, including obstetric anaesthesia, through training and assessment.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 12 months' experience in anaesthesia in the UK.
  • Desirable qualifications include Initial Assessment of Competence and Initial Assessment of Competence in Obstetric Anaesthesia.

  • A competitive salary range of £39,000 - £51,400 per annum (dependent on level and experience).
