Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Immunisation Programme Manager to join our Public Health Immunisation Team in NHS National Services Scotland.

The successful candidate will have sound clinical expertise and experience, strong communication skills, and a passion for supporting the public health leadership of our immunisation programmes.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to lead the delivery of safe, high-quality, and effective immunisation programmes across NHS Lothian. As Immunisation Programme Manager, you will provide highly specialist immunisation advice to Allied Professionals and respond to complex clinical queries, complaints, and support the management of adverse incidents.

You will work closely with other Allied Professionals, Health and Social Care Partnerships, internal teams, community, and voluntary sector partners, and national partners to achieve the best outcomes for the population of NHS Lothian.

The main departmental office base is presently at Waverley Gate but we are moving before the end of the year to offices at West Port. Our agile working model supports a blend of working from home and days on site each week.

About the Department

The Department of Public Health and Health Policy aims to improve and protect the health of people in Lothian as part of a whole system approach to public health in Scotland. We have a strong commitment to multi-disciplinary public health reflected in the range of staff within the department.

In this role, you will act as a key liaison between clinical staff and management, providing leadership, support, and expert guidance to support the delivery of our immunisation programmes.
