Job Description

An advanced technological and engineering platform for the design, construction and operation of safe and sustainable complex infrastructure and plants. This role will be based in Kingston for the first 2-3 months, then the remaining time of the project will be in Teesside.

  1. Conduct environmental impact assessments to identify mitigation measures and improve the Environmental Management System (EMS).
  2. Develop and implement guidelines for managing environmental aspects across projects and companies.
  3. Perform studies and analyses on environmental issues, including evaluating the EMS performance.
  4. Provide support for the development and improvement of the EMS, including training and capacity building.
  5. Analyse the environmental impact of activities during both project and execution phases.
  6. Identify and develop effective mitigation measures to reduce environmental impact.
  7. Collaborate with teams to develop and implement strategies for improving the EMS.
  8. Conduct environmental impact assessments and evaluations using methods such as VIA and SIA.
  9. Stay up-to-date with environmental laws and regulations, ensuring compliance and authorisation processes are followed.
