Cost Management Professional

Role Summary:
This is an exciting opportunity to join Eden Scott as a Cost Management Professional, where you will play a key role in the commercial management of construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the commercial function within the construction phase of a project to maximize target margins.
- Lead the tender process for construction phase consultants, contractors, and suppliers, providing reports and recommendations to the management board.
- Prepare contract documents for major suppliers and contractors, ensuring legal due diligence and financial close.
- Manage valuations, payments, claims, and settlement of Final Accounts, as well as other commercial matters arising during the construction phase.
- Contribute to the assessment, review, and mitigation of commercial and contractual risks within the project management framework.
Requirements:
- Degree or equivalent in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in a senior commercial consultancy role.
