Our client, a leading engineering and construction contractor with a reputation for delivering world-class projects across a diverse range of industries, is urgently seeking an experienced Senior M&E Planner. With extensive experience in M&E project planning within large-scale projects, the Senior M&E Planner is responsible for developing, monitoring, and updating project schedules for M&E works across multiple projects, ensuring that all M&E activities are fully coordinated, resourced, and delivered on time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive project schedules for mechanical and electrical works, detailing all key activities, milestones, and critical paths, ensuring alignment with overall project timelines and objectives.
  • Work closely with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure M&E schedules are accurate, realistic, and achievable.
  • Continuously monitor the progress of M&E works against the project schedule, updating the schedule regularly to reflect actual progress, identify issues, and propose effective solutions to keep the project on track.
  • Perform detailed critical path analysis to identify risks that could affect the project's overall timeline and advise project management on potential delays.
  • Provide regular progress reports to project stakeholders, highlighting any schedule issues and ensure that all parties are informed of schedule updates, changes, and potential impacts on project delivery.
  • Oversee that M&E works are fully integrated with other trades and disciplines to avoid clashes and ensure seamless project execution.
  • Utilize planning software such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or other relevant tools to create, update, and track project schedules.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering/Project Management or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in M&E Project Planning.
  • Proficiency in project planning software such as Primavera P6, MS Project, or Asta Powerproject.
  • Strong analytical abilities, with a focus on critical path analysis, schedule optimization, and resource management.
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to interact with a wide range of stakeholders, including project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and clients.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
