An exciting opportunity has arisen for a seasoned sales expert with a background in timber or building products to join Jobit as an Area Sales Manager.

As a leading wood processing company, we offer excellent benefits and a competitive salary of $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience.

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Area Sales Manager to drive sales through established customer bases and generate new business. The ideal candidate will be based in this region and happy to cover it as a whole.

  1. Proactively manage accounts and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key accounts and Buying Groups across the UK.
  2. Achieve or exceed annual sales targets and key milestones by leveraging your expertise in selling timber or building products.
  3. Grow, lead, and manage the sales territory effectively, identifying opportunities for growth and development.
  4. Maintain the sales process and CRM from a key account and customer service perspective, ensuring seamless communication and resolution.
  5. Exhibit strong journey planning and account management skills, adapting to changing market conditions and customer needs.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  1. Previous experience as a Sales Manager or in a similar role, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
  2. A background in selling timber or building products, ideally with experience selling into the builders' merchant sector.
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
