Role Overview:

Academics is seeking an experienced teacher to join our team as a Primary Intervention Teacher for students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. As a SEN / SEMH Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and creative lessons to small classes of students with SEMH needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver Maths and English lessons to small classes of students with SEMH needs
  • Provide students with the learning they need to make good progress
  • Work with a high staff-to-student ratio to support students' academic and personal development

Requirements:

  • Experience as a SEN / SEMH Teacher or a similar role
  • Qualifications in Education or a related field

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
