Job Summary


We are looking for a qualified or experienced SEN/SEMH teacher who can provide intervention and support to students with emotional and mental health needs. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and a commitment to making a positive difference in the lives of our students.



Key Responsibilities


The successful candidate will be responsible for:



  • Developing and implementing individualized intervention plans for students with SEMH needs
  • Providing direct teaching and support to students in a secondary setting
  • Collaborating with colleagues to ensure effective communication and coordination of student support
  • Maintaining accurate records and reporting on student progress


Requirements


To be considered for this role, you must:



  • Hold a relevant teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, B.Ed.)
  • Have experience working with students with SEMH needs
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Show a commitment to ongoing professional development

This position is based in Guildford, Surrey, and we are looking for candidates who are able to commute to this location.



Estimated Salary


We estimate that the annual salary for this position will be around £32,500-£39,000, depending on experience.
