Job Description:

GSL Education is seeking a Disability Support Worker to join their team in Sholing. As a Disability Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing support to students with disabilities, ensuring their comfort and safety.

About the Role:

  • Provide one-on-one and group support to students with disabilities.
  • Assist with daily tasks, ensuring students' comfort and safety.
  • Collaborate with teaching staff to create a supportive classroom environment.
  • Encourage students' independence and confidence through tailored guidance.
  • Implement behaviour management strategies as required.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous.
  • A calm, empathetic, and patient approach to support.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Passion for empowering students with diverse needs to succeed.

Salary: £76.92 - £95.68 per day
