Hampshire County Council is looking for a Therapeutic Parent and Support Professional to join our team at Swanwick Lodge. As a key member of our team, you will provide care and support to children with complex needs, promoting their wellbeing and development.


The successful candidate will work collaboratively with other professionals to deliver person-centred care and support, ensuring the individual needs of each child are met. In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge through comprehensive training and ongoing support.


This role involves a shift pattern of alternate weekends with a mixture of early and late shifts and sleep-in duties. We offer flexible working requests and a thorough induction programme, including mandatory training, for all new staff members.


To be successful in this role, you will need to be emotionally intelligent, resilient, and passionate about helping children. Experience working with children or young people in a residential or secure setting is desirable but not essential.


This role requires an Enhanced DBS disclosure and Safeguarding Check. We are a Disability Confident Employer, committed to an inclusive and accessible recruitment process.


The estimated salary for this role is £22,000 - £25,000 per annum, depending on experience.
