Behaviour Support Specialist

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Behaviour Mentor to join our team at a specialist school in Enfield. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of supporting students with SEMH needs and will be able to work closely with teachers, professionals, and therapists to provide a safe and supportive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support students with SEMH needs in lessons and therapy sessions
- Assist students in managing their emotions and de-escalating situations
- Work closely with teachers, professionals, and therapists to provide a comprehensive support package
- Attend 'on-calls' for extra behaviour support in lessons or facilitate work with pupils in our reflection space
About the School
The school is an SEMH school catering for young people aged 11-18 with social, emotional, and mental health needs. All students have a primary need within the area of SEMH and some may have co-occurring needs in one or more of the following areas: communication and interaction; cognition and learning; sensory and/or physical needs.
