About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team at Spicerhaart, a leading estate agency group in the UK. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for delivering team KPI targets by securing new listing opportunities through proactive customer contact.

Main Responsibilities

  • Deliver business growth by identifying and pursuing new listing opportunities
  • Manage a team of Personal Move Assistants to achieve sales targets
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive business growth
  • Build and maintain relationships with branch managers and regionals across all divisions and businesses
  • Conduct regular 1:1 meetings and performance reviews with team members
  • Ensure timely completion of administration duties and regional branch requests

  • Proven track record of business development and sales growth
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Commercial awareness and ability to make informed decisions

The Rewards

  • Basic salary between £25,000-£27,000 per annum depending on sales management experience
  • 10% override of team's commission, uncapped

Working Hours and Location

This role is based at our head office in Colchester, Essex, and requires a rota shift pattern covering early and late shifts, Monday to Friday. 1 in 3 weekends, with a day off in lieu the following week.
