Weybridge, Surrey, United Kingdom Willmott Dixon Full time
Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Tender Development Coordinator to join our Construction South team covering South London and the South East.

This is a 12 month fixed term contract opportunity, with potential for conversion to a permanent role.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in bid management and be able to oversee the quality of submissions, collaborating closely with project managers to enhance bid quality.

Key responsibilities include assessing technical bid requirements, assisting project managers in shaping proposals, ensuring adherence to the formal bid process, and providing recommendations for continuous improvement.

Through writing, reviewing, and editing drafts, the successful candidate will ensure that submissions persuasively convey our offer to customers by communicating key win themes within our responses, securing high scores against evaluation criteria.

Working with subject matter experts, the Tender Development Coordinator will conceptualise and create visual elements to tell the story, contributing to the 'look and feel' of our offering. With knowledge of bidding best practice, the role also involves guiding less experienced staff and those from other business areas.

The Tender Development Coordinator will also support creation of clear and effective customer presentations and contribute creative ideas and initiatives for bids.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading the creation of written responses to achieve high-quality, winning bids/submissions meeting customer requirements and expectations.
  • Experience of writing and editing tender submissions, including bid writing and bid editing.
  • Meticulous organisational skills.
  • Using Microsoft Office and Adobe InDesign and Photoshop.
  • UKAPMP membership and certification (desirable).

What we're looking for:

  • Strategic, customer-focused thinking.
  • Creativity and writing skills.
  • Problem-solving abilities.
  • Leadership and teamwork experience.
  • Bidding best practice knowledge.
  • Desire to learn and develop.

Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary package of £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as flexible benefits to suit your lifestyle and priorities, including an enhanced pension scheme, full private medical, life assurance, incentive bonus, car scheme, and access to low-carbon and electric cars via our car leasing scheme.
