We are seeking a highly skilled researcher to join our team at Scholarshipscafe. As a PhD researcher, you will have the opportunity to work on a project that integrates quantitative genetics and transcriptomics in Drosophila melanogaster with simulations in SLiM.
Project SummaryThe project aims to investigate the genetic architecture of sex- / temperature-specific fitness, dominance-reversed gene expression, and its relation to fitness. You will be responsible for conducting experiments, analyzing data, and interpreting results.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in biological sciences, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work independently. Key Objectives:
- To investigate the genetic architecture of sex- / temperature-specific fitness
