Hampshire County Council is seeking a motivated individual to join its Development Team as an Application Testing Consultant. The successful candidate will be responsible for embedding and evolving the council's mobile test capabilities, supporting the application portfolio via the mobile platform and corporate web Content Management System.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of business requirements and be able to test appropriate solutions for customers. They will work as part of a supportive team, sharing technical knowledge and ideas to help deliver systems that are functional, performant, scalable, tested, secure, maintainable and supportable.

The role will involve driving the council's mission to continuously deliver and support innovative and effective solutions via its website and mobile app for Hampshire residents. The successful candidate will work alongside a talented team of developers and testers, testing web and mobile services and ensuring they are responsive across multiple channels, devices, browsers, and platforms.

The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent interpersonal and strong communication skills, establishing effective working relationships with technical and non-technical colleagues, external suppliers, partners, customers and end users. They will be self-motivated, willing to take the initiative and demonstrate a flexible attitude.
