Quay Crew: Marine Construction Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Marine Construction Specialist to join our team at Quay Crew, a dynamic company based in the South of England. As a key member of our team, you will oversee the construction process, ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

You will be responsible for managing a team of professionals, coordinating with contractors and suppliers, and ensuring that all safety protocols are followed.

  • Oversee marine construction projects, ensuring smooth delivery.
  • Manage a team of professionals, providing guidance and support when needed.
  • Coordinate with contractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations.
  • Travel across Europe as needed, with flexibility to attend last-minute meetings or site inspections.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in marine construction, preferably in a leadership role.
  • Experience with project management, including planning, coordination, and execution.
  • Strong understanding of engineering systems, steel/alloy construction inspections, and general maritime systems.
  • Experience conducting surveys (condition, acceptance testing).
  • Strong written communication skills for report writing.
  • Willingness to travel throughout Europe, sometimes at short notice.
  • Y1 yacht ticket or unlimited ticket (bonus), surveying qualifications highly preferred.
  • Flexible and adaptable, willing to travel and be on-site at short notice, even on weekends if required.

Estimated Salary: £65,000 - £85,000 per annum, depending on experience.
