Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Mental Health Nurse to join our team as a Psychiatric Decision Unit Band 6 role. This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, providing high-quality care to individuals experiencing acute mental health deterioration or crisis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess the care needs of individuals and develop and implement plans of care to ensure their safety and well-being.
  • Provide clinical leadership to the team, ensuring that care is delivered in accordance with policies, protocols, and clinical procedures.
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide a user-focused, accessible, and responsive assessment service.
  • Provide management supervision to junior staff members and undertake managerial duties in the absence of the team coordinator.

Requirements:

  • Registered Mental Health Nurse with a valid registration.
  • Experience working in a Psychiatric Decision Unit or similar setting.
  • Strong clinical skills and ability to work autonomously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
