The IoT Business Operations Manager role is critical in overseeing and optimising business processes, tracking key metrics for the IoT Business and ensuring effective execution of Vodafone IoT's strategy. As the IoT business becomes a standalone company, this role will be crucial in ensuring the operation operates smoothly, adheres to high standards of governance and continuously seeks ways to improve operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage cross-functional teams to oversee the execution of key initiatives to the IoT Business Strategy
  • Support the creation and management of the Vodafone IoT governance framework, including reporting, business reviews, management meetings and quarterly business reviews
  • Monitor and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure data-driven decisions at the IoT Leadership team level
  • Track and manage all actions placed on the leadership team, working with key stakeholders across the business to facilitate timely closure of outstanding actions
  • Support in driving forward comms and engagement at all levels of the business, providing presentations, reports, and whitepapers for both internal and external audiences
  • Proactively identify operational issues within the IoT Business and drive forward to resolution

Requirements

  • Strong organisational skills, including an ability to perform under pressure and manage multiple priorities with competing demands
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to build and maintain strong cross-functional relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation
  • Strong business acumen and ability to understand, drive business objectives
  • Strong influencing skills with the ability to engage and motivate others
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate detailed information in a condensed manner to various stakeholders verbally and in writing
  • Operational governance and reporting experience
  • Curiosity, adaptability and ability to manage change in business needs, processes, or technologies
  • Excellent attention to detail and high analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Yearly bonus: 10%
