About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Corporate Responsibility Lead to join our team at ZipRecruiter. This is a fixed-term position (circa 6-8 months) that will support our existing reporting team in delivering high-quality ESG reports.

This role will involve managing the delivery of our current ESG reporting suite under the guidance of our ESG Reporting/ESG Reporting Manager and supporting the team in preparing for upcoming mandatory reporting requirements, particularly the implementation of the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) for the 2025/26 financial year.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver the 2024/25 ESG reporting suite across the Responsible Business report and data appendix, annual report, summary reports, and responsible business pages of our website.
  • Project manage the data collection process for responsible business key performance indicators (KPIs), including the data review and audit process.
  • Manage the audit and assurance of responsible business data, including owning the relationship with external audit providers and the internal audit team.
  • Work with internal teams/consultants to improve the quality of responsible business data.
  • Coordinate the responsible business reporting team, including internal and external specialists, to successfully deliver corporate responsible business reporting to a high standard, on time and within budget.
  • Support the wider Reporting team in preparation for upcoming requirements, e.g., CSRD.

Requirements:

  • Technical expertise and experience in sustainability reporting.
  • Understanding of best practice reporting standards (e.g., GRI, SASB), frameworks, and regulations.
  • A good understanding of key ESG issues including climate change, carbon emissions, human rights, modern slavery issues, and circularity.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with experience managing multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.
  • Skilled in analyzing, synthesizing, and presenting technical information in a simple, business-focused format.
  • Experience in report design and content creation, including briefing agencies and providing constructive feedback on design and copy.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with a degree of ambiguity.
  • Able to build effective and strong working relationships at all levels of the business.
  • Ability to manage and coordinate changing priorities, capable of multi-tasking.

The estimated salary for this position is $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a leading company in the field of ESG reporting and contribute to the development of our reporting strategy.
