About the RoleThis is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, 8:30 to 3:30. As a Creative Classroom SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting students with a range of special educational needs. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing individualised support to students with SEN, adapting teaching methods to meet their unique needs.
- Assisting in the development and implementation of creative and engaging lesson plans that cater to different learning styles and abilities.
- Supporting the class teacher in managing the classroom, preparing materials, and ensuring a safe and inclusive environment for all students.
- Helping students develop social skills and emotional resilience, providing encouragement and positive reinforcement.
- Collaborating with teachers, SEN coordinators, and other staff members to create and maintain individualised education plans (IEPs) and track student progress.
- Fostering strong relationships with parents and guardians, keeping them informed about their child's progress and any concerns.
- A relevant qualification in education or childcare.
- Experience working with children with SEN is desirable, but a willingness to learn and grow in this field is essential.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- A positive and proactive attitude.
The salary for this position is £28,000 - £32,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including:
