As a seasoned Social Worker, you have the unique opportunity to progress your career and take on a more senior role as an Assistant Team Manager with Hampshire County Council.

This challenging position demands passion and commitment to delivering exceptional support to families in need. You will be part of our innovative Family Help teams, working closely with children under child protection plans, child-in-need plans, and those involved in Public Law Outline/Initial care proceedings.

With a manageable caseload, you will implement the Hampshire Approach, ensuring the child's voice is heard and their views recorded. This approach embeds a positive view of working, reducing stress and conflict in the workplace.

To succeed in this role, you must possess proven experience gained from at least three years in frontline statutory social care practice. A Social Work qualification and registration with Social Work England are essential.

You'll enjoy a competitive salary range of £38,000 - £48,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits such as a nine-day fortnight working schedule, flexible working arrangements, and help with relocation of up to £8,500 for qualified social workers moving to Hampshire.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, children, and families. They should also have a strong understanding of safeguarding procedures and practices.
